Welcome And Date Check\n
SPEAKER_00Hi, this has been your Roger Seat Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking in to the WeathermanPond.com on your Wednesday, 27th day of the month of May 2026.
East Coast Outlook And Temps\n
SPEAKER_00And it looks like our weather situation for today is going to be pretty good across the east. Still having those areas of showers over the southeastern states, but it looks like in the northeast, nice weather, a mix of clouds and sun is the best way we can call it. And there is the possibility of a passing sprinkler shower, but temperatures will get into the 80s. Upper 70s, low to middle eighties. That'll be your highs from about DC northward up to the Boston
Tonight Through Friday Forecast\n
SPEAKER_00area. Now for tonight, there is a chance of a passing shower or two, especially further south. And overnight temperatures will settle back down into about the upper 50s and lower 60s. It looks good for Thursday. Sunshine. High pressure starts to build in. Temperatures will range between 73 and 78 on northwest winds. A bit gusty during the afternoon, but a beautiful day coming up. At night it'll be clear, comfortable, 50 to 55. Friday sunshine 77.
Weekend Into Early June Preview\n
SPEAKER_00Look at this weekend. Last couple of days of the month of May. And on Saturday and Sunday, both days are going to be sunny. Fair skies at night. Daytime highs 70 to 75, nighttime lows in the 50s, and a few spots in north and west up to the upper 40s, a little bit cooler towards the morning hours. We open up the new month of June on Monday and Tuesday, looking at sunny skies each day, 70 to 75. That heat that we had a few weeks ago is just a thing of the past now. We're looking at a weather situation, very nice conditions for the next several days. A little bit on the dry
Flight Weather Across Major Regions\n
SPEAKER_00side, though. Now, if you're traveling by air today, a series of frontal systems will be just across the Bend Atlantic and Northeast. Looks like generally decent weather for the New York area. There will be a few scattered showers during the afternoon, early evening, dry up in Boston. For the most part, generally fair in Chicago, but it does look like some scattered showers are possible there in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Minneapolis St. Paul's looking dry. Still some showers all across the central and southern portion of Florida and Atlanta and in Charlotte. All looking at the possibility of some rain, also the possibility of some showers in Louisiana, uh, coastal Texas from Houston, even up into the Dallas area. Some showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. And showers along the Texas Gulf Coast go all the way down to Corpus Christi and maybe even down to Brownsville as well. And up to the West Coast, some scattered showers are starting to work their way into much of central and southern California from LA northward up to San Francisco, especially over the north. And it looks like into uh Oregon and into Washington State, the showers will probably stay off to the south and east, so no major problems weatherwise, flying into Seattle or into LA for today.
