June Starts Bright And Mild
SPEAKER_00All right, this is Meteorology Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanPond.com on your Monday, first day of the month of June 2026. Beautiful month weather wise across the Mid-Alantic and Northeast when it's right. And it's starting off right, but we see as the week we start seeing temperatures into the upper 80s, low to mid-90s in some places, and that'll be on Friday, Saturday, and probably even Sunday this upcoming weekend.
Heat Builds Toward The Weekend
SPEAKER_00Now we see a frontal system moving through might cool things back just to near normal. But uh very nice weather for today. Good amount of sunshine across the mid-Atlantic and northeast. Still a lot of cloud cover further south, but that's going to start shifting a bit once everything starts to become a little bit warmer. Whole eastern seaboard. That'll be towards the end of the week. But for today, sunshine, low to middle 70s, and west winds at night, some clouds, but not any generally fair skies through the overnight, down to about 46 to 51. Look for another sunny day for Tuesday. And our highs for the day will range to 74, partly cloudy at night. Wednesday sunshine 80, Thursday, mid to upper 80s, near 90 in many spots, low 90s expected for Friday into this upcoming weekend. But once again, for today, for the first day of June, you've got some great weather across the Northeast as temperatures reach into the 70s, and a good amount of sunshine is expected as well.
Flight Weather For Major Airports
SPEAKER_00Now, if you're traveling by air today, great weather continues across the northeast as high pressure extends just around uh from the Virginias northward all the way up into southern New England. So fair weather, Norc LaGuardia JFK, no problems up in Boston, Philly, and DC looking pretty good as Baltimore.
Nationwide Snapshot And Sign-Off
SPEAKER_00Good weather in Chicago, just some isolated showers, but nothing much in Minneapolis, St. Paul. Looks like some rainy weather continues in Atlanta, causing a little bit of delays there, and some showers in North Carolina at Charlotte. Further south, the weather has improved just a bit in Central and South Florida. Good weather in Houston and Dallas, nothing major there. West Coast, dry in LA. San Francisco also continues dry. Very nice weather in the Pacific Northwest in Seattle, Tacoma. I'm Biddy Bogger, Steve Pelletier, and I am the weatherman. Hope have a great day today.
