Hi, this is Midi Roger, Steve Pelleterian. I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanpod.com on your Tuesdays. It's the second day of the month of June, 2026.
Sunshine And Warm Temps Today
Really started off the month nicely yesterday. Beautiful weather. And it looks like more great weather conditions are going to be with us today. Plenty of sunshine. Highs will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Very partly cloudy at night down at 52 to 57.
Midweek Heat Pushes Toward 90
And a sunny day for Wednesday. No. Wednesday's highs will reach the middle 80s. Clear at night, 58. Thursday's sunshine near 90. Friday mostly sunny about 90 to 95. Also 90 to 95 Saturday. So the warm trend continues into the weekend.
Sunday Showers And Next Week Setup
And then on Sunday, there's a chance of some showers. Otherwise, clouds and sun highs near 80. Only in the 70s of Monday next week, we're looking at the possibility of an area of low pressure moving our way and developing over the region. Maybe some much needed rainfall. We can hope for that. But in the meantime, we've got some great weather coming up for today.
Smooth Flying Weather In The Northeast
Now, if you're traveling by air today, looks like some very nice weather across the northeast. Big area high pressure centered right over the Great Lakes. And it extends fair weather right to the eastern seaboard and to central and northern New England. A little bit further south, you might have some scattered afternoon showers then around the Shenandoah, but it doesn't look like much. Just generally dry across the Carolinas and the Virginias. And
Severe Weather Risk In The Plains
it looks like maybe the heavy weather, severe conditions will be in western and central, north and south Dakota, and even sections of northwestern Nebraska. But uh the rainy weather also extends into Atlanta. It's been a threat of showers in Atlanta for the last several days. Similar situation in Charlotte, Central and South Florida, most of the time dry, but typical monsoon season starting down there a little bit more. The rainy season in South Florida from Fort Myers across the Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and maybe some afternoon
Showers South Then Clear West Coast
showers. Houston, Dallas, and both places not looking too bad. There will be some rain in Houston. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms in Dallas, but most of the time dry. West Coast is looking really good. LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Portland and Seattle. Dry conditions, no problem. Weather wise, flying into the West
