Host Intro And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Midi Ralder Steve Father Terry and I'm the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanBound.com on your Tuesday. It's the ninth day of the month of June 2026. The month's going by pretty quickly. A third of the way through almost, and uh we're looking at a pretty
Today’s Sunshine And Warmer Highs
SPEAKER_00good day today. Beautiful day on Wednesday, my goodness, across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. And for today, it's gonna be pretty good, but a little bit warmer. 80 to 85. Looks at plenty of sunshine, southwest winds at 5 to about
Tonight Clouds Move In
SPEAKER_0015. Now there will be an increase in clouds for tonight. Generally it's going to be fair, but not as cool. Last evening temperatures were down into the 40s and lower 50s in Pennsylvania, New York, and eastern sections of uh Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey. So temperatures down to about 45 to 50. Elsewhere it was between about 53 and 58, of course, closer to 60 in the city and built-up areas. And looking at uh a good amount of sunshine for the day today, and then at night those clouds move in, so it keeps the temperatures up a bit into the 60s.
Wednesday Storm Chances Rise
SPEAKER_00And there is a chance of some showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. Wednesday's highs will range into the mid-80s, but the humidity values will be higher. The south winds will start to take over, and the probability of rainfall gets up to 80% by later on Wednesday and Wednesday night. Now, some showers and a thunderstorm are possible for Wednesday night too at nighttime lows, holding back into the upper 60s and your 70s, so not much of a drop in the temperatures at night.
Heat Peaks Then Weekend Relief
SPEAKER_00And even Thursday, back to partial sunshine, but it's going to start turning hot. 90 to 95 is a good bet for most areas. It will be cooler at beach areas and coastal locations, but there is a chance of some showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. on Thursday. Similar situation for Friday, although the probability is a little bit less than about 30%. We do have that chance of temperatures back up to about 93 to 97 degrees. That'll be on Friday. Saturday sunshine closer to near 90. We have a little front moving through, a little bit of drier weather. So sunshine 80s to near 90 for Sunday of this weekend. And in the 80s with a chance of some much needed showers for early next week on Monday.
Air Travel Weather And Delay Risks
SPEAKER_00Now, if you're traveling by air today, dry weather continues across the New York and the Guardia, JFK, and uh Newark for today. So no major problems weather-wise getting in and out of those airports. It looks pretty good up from Boston, also Philadelphia, D.C., Baltimore looking very good. There will be showers and thunderstorms, so some delays getting into Charlotte and into Atlanta today because of some heavy weather moving out of the Tennessee Valley and out of the Gulf Coast. Also, some scattered showers and thunderstorms in South Florida from uh Naples around to Fort Myers to the west and also around Miami and up to Fort Launerdale into the southern east portion of the Florida Peninsula. It looks like a few scattered showers in Houston, but not as much. No major delays into there or into Dallas. It does look like dry weather moving into Chicago, rain in the morning and drying in the afternoon, and dry weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul, West Coast, dry in LA and San Francisco. Rainy weather continues up in Portland and Seattle today.
