Quick Hello And Date Check
SPEAKER_00Hi, this is Meteoral Steve Pelletieran. I am the Weatherman. Hope you have a great day coming up on your Thursday. Thanks for checking in to the weathermanpod.com on your Thursday, ninth day, the month of July. Almost a third of the way through this month. My goodness,
Summer Heat And Storm Setup
SPEAKER_00it goes quick. But uh we are looking at some summer-like conditions and maybe some thunderstorms again today across the Mid-Atlantic Northeast. Beautiful day yesterday. Today, high temperatures will range between 80 and 85, and we do have the chance of late day and evening thunderstorms. Some could be locally severe, as the area of low pressure passes just off the eastern seaboard. That's
Friday Fog Then Cold Front
SPEAKER_00more of the same coming up for Friday. So highs today 80 to 85, lows tonight near 70. Thunderstorm threat probably from between 2 p.m. and about 8 p.m. across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Then for tomorrow, we start off again with generally patchy fog in the morning, some sunshine in the afternoon. Thunderstorms again are possible. High temperatures for the day tomorrow, a little bit warmer, mid to upper 80s. And then a cold front arrives on Friday night with some thunderstorms, then clearing overnight lows back into the 60s.
Weekend Outlook And Next Week Warmup
SPEAKER_00Look at this weekend. Saturday partly sunny, 80 to 85, and Sunday also mostly sunny, temperatures ranging 80 to 85. Looks like we could see temperatures back up to near 90 by later Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week.
Air Travel Delays And Regional Skies
SPEAKER_00Traveling by air today looks like some decent weather for the most part today across much of the northeast. However, there will be those thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Those always slow things down, cause either cancellations or delays. That'll be between 2 and 11 p.m. if you're flying in or out. Expect some delays at that time. Similar situation for the Boston area. It does look dry for the most part in Charlotte, but Atlanta, some scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Decent weather down in central and south Florida, no problems there. Both Houston and Dallas, hot but dry. And it looks like good weather flying in and out of there. Rainy conditions in Chicago, some delays there. Frontal system almost stationary across there. So midway in O'Hara look for some delays. That's a good connecting area for the Midwest. And the Midwest is going to have some scattered showers and thunderstorms across Missouri, sections of Kansas, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. Dry weather on Minneapolis, St. Paul, West Coast also continues. Dry conditions from LA all the way up to Seattle, Tacoma.
