Today’s Showers And Thunder Risk
SPEAKER_00Pretty good day on Friday. We did have a little extra cloud cover. There were a few showers here and there. Uh, taking a look on our weather charts for today, we are looking at uh some scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Mid Atlantic. Seems like it doesn't look like extensive total rainfall, but that chance of some showers will be with us throughout the daytime today. Hopefully the big area high pressure across the Great Lakes will start to move our way and give us some decent weather for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of this upcoming week.
Full Weekend And Midweek Forecast
SPEAKER_00So here's a forecast in detail for today. We're looking at a good amount of sunshine, and we'll also have some afternoon clouds, about a 30% chance of a shower or thunder shower, temperatures ranging between 80 and 85. At night, fair to partly cloudy, but the overnight low is back into the mid-60s, so a little bit cooler during the overnight. And daytime on Sunday, look for sunshine to partly sunny. Highs again ranging into the low to middle 80s. At night, fair to partly cloudy, down to 65 to 70. Monday sunshine, mid-80s. Tuesday, highs near 90. Again, sunny weather. Looks like sunshine, upper 80s, lower 90s, expected for Wednesday through midweek. But recapping for today, we will have a chance of a scattered shower and thunder shower. Otherwise, partial sunshine on our highs 80

New York, LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark, and up in the Boston area looking. Generally fair, no problems there. Looking at Philly, Baltimore, and D.C., a little bit more widespread showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon, with some slight delays in those places because of that. Some scattered showers in Atlanta and Charlotte, the heaviest across eastern Tennessee and Kentucky, but just moving into western North Carolina. Central and South Florida scattered afternoon thunderstorms, pretty typical for this time of year. More rainy weather expected in the afternoon in Houston. Dallas should be dry but hot. Fair weather in Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul. West Coast continues their dry trend. LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Tacoma and Seattle, looking at generally fair conditions, no problems weather wise, flying into those places this afternoon or
