World Cup Sunday In North Jersey
SPEAKER_00Sunday. It's World Cup Sunday. Then looking at uh temperatures in and around North Jersey, where the World Cup final being held, is going to be, well, quite nice. Plenty of sunshine, high temperatures ranging between 84. The game between Argentina and Spain should be exciting, and hopefully everybody had a great time in all across North America with the World Cup games.
Today And Monday Forecast
SPEAKER_00Now we're looking at uh sunny skies today, 80 to 85, northwest winds at 15, gusting to 25. It'll be clear at night down near 60. Another beautiful day. Tomorrow, back to work on Monday. Look, sunny skies 84, mostly cloudy at night down at 66.
Showers And Thunderstorms Midweek
SPEAKER_00Now, we see the possibility of some showers on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Showers and some thunderstorms do, 80 to 85 both days. By Thursday, however, another area, high pressure building down from Canada, highs on Thursday, 81. Friday, sunshine 84, only up to 86 on Saturday of next weekend. Also looks nice for Sunday of next weekend as well.

SPEAKER_00We're traveling by air today. The big area of high pressures building down for the Great Lakes.
Canadian Wildfire Smoke Pattern
SPEAKER_00Still some smoke from the Canadian wildfires of west and northwestern Ontario Providence, and it's uh going to be across the Great Lakes this time because of steering upper level winds.
NYC Area Conditions For Travelers
SPEAKER_00And it looks like uh dry conditions and good conditions for the World Cup and the uh Nork, New York LaGuardia area, dry conditions through the afternoon and the evening hours. But it looks like most folks will be departing on Monday, so it looks like good weather then as well. Some of that smoke from the Canadian wildfires may start to work back into our skies towards midweek. Also with the possibility of some showers, some cleansing, showers cleansing out the atmosphere.
Regional Weather Roundup
SPEAKER_00Showers down around the Richmond area and in Raleigh and also in Charlotte. Looks like some light showers around central and northern portions of Georgia and Atlanta, but East Kentucky and Tennessee will have some locally heavy thunderstorms with a stationary front there. Scoutter showers from thunderstorms, central and south Florida, the heaviest rains just offshore. Tampa St. Pete up to Pensacola. And dry weather in Houston and Dallas, just smoky conditions in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul looking dry. Dry also LA, San Francisco, and all the way up to Seattle. No problems weather wise on the West Coast today
