July Pattern Heat And Moisture
SPEAKER_00Going into the last weekend of this month of July, a month that's been showing the mid-Atlantic. Lots of moisture. Also above normal temperatures for the most part, but we'll have more details on that as we're getting through
Sunny Friday And Comfortable Nights
SPEAKER_00the weekend. Our weather for today, plenty of sunshine, or highs are range from about 78 cooler spots to about 84. At night fair to partly cloudy, 50s in many spots, still over 60s in the cities, and it looks like great
Weekend Outlook Sunny Dry And Mild
SPEAKER_00weather for Saturday. Highs are range to near 80 to 85. Sunday 80 to 85. Both days sunny and dry. Low comfortable relative humidity, bright sunshine, and fair comfortable weather at night. Nighttime readings will be in the
Next Week Heat Then Storm Chances
SPEAKER_0050s. By later Monday, temperatures will reach the upper 80s, and we're expecting showers and thunderstorms to start moving back into the region for Monday night, Tuesday, and may even linger for a while on Wednesday, although the trend does look for some drier weather
Air Travel Forecast For Major Hubs
SPEAKER_00midweek. Traveling by air today, of course, with this big area, high pressure right over the region. We've got some great weather for today. No problems flying in and out of the New York LaGuardia and JFK area. And up in Boston, Logan, no problem. Philly International doing good. Great weather down at the uh Maryland in D.C. and Dulles. Looks like excellent conditions. Those places of traveling in and out of there. Charlotte's still under the possibility of some scattered showers or even an isolated thunderstorm, but uh it does look like uh most of the rainy weather will be off to the eastern portion of the Carolinas. And also into central and north Georgia. Atlanta Hartsfield will be also getting uh scattered showers and some thunderstorms, but nothing major to cause any significant delays in and outbound of that uh number one hub in the world. It looks the most uh active airport in the world because of all the uh headquarters and the inbounds and outbounds, using it as a uh waypoint from going to the West Coast, going to the uh East Asia, and also back over to Europe as well. South Florida, some scattered thunderstorms, and nothing much.
Bertha Remnants And Nationwide Wrap-Up
SPEAKER_00Uh looks like the remains of tropical storm Bertha is now down around Corpus Christi in Brownsville, southern Texas. Might be a few showers on Houston in Dallas, but no problems major there. It looks like dry weather in Chicago, dry weather West Coast, all the way up to Seattle.
