A month that's been a little bit above normal temperature-wise, not much, but well above normal precipitation-wise. And that really hasn't happened for about a year or so. It's been try each and every month over the past 12 and generally by about an inch or so of rainfall. And uh, well, the rainfall, although not long enduring and soaking, is much needed. There were some places yesterday that received uh between about two and four inches of rainfall in the central and northern portions of New Jersey, while much of the city and the island only got about maybe a half inch of rain. well. So this is the way that this type of weather pattern works for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. We'll have mostly cloudy skies today. There will be a few breaks in the overcast, and also the chance of a shower or thundershower, but it'll be widely scattered, and the probability is only 30% today. High temperatures will dress for highs in the 70s to near 80 degrees. Then partly cloudy tonight, 60 to 65, and Friday's weather's looking great. Plenty of sunshine. That's not too bad for nighttime lows. And Saturday's looking partly sunny, middle 80s. Sunday increasing clouds could bring us some showers, 83. But for these last couple of days of July today and tomorrow, we're looking at generally fair conditions. The better day being tomorrow. Today we'll have clouds and sun, just a slight chance of a shower and highs near 80 degrees. A little bit warmer, but less clouds

tomorrow. Traveling by air today, the upper level low pressure system continues to be across much of central and southern New England, just touching into the New York area. So there'll be some extra cloud cover, but no major areas of weather that'll cause any extensive delays, inbound or outbound for North LaGuardia, JFK, or even up in the Boston area, although Boston will be overcast with rainy conditions just about all day long. It does look dry in Charlotte and in Atlanta. Maybe some showers in central Florida from Tampa St. Pete across the Daytona, but South Florida, down around Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm, looking at pretty good weather throughout the day. Dry in Houston and Dallas, also dry in Chicago, but rainy weather in Minneapolis, St. Paul. West Coast continues to dry trend. The smoky weather is across northern Idaho and western Montana, eastern sections of both Washington and Oregon. But you're looking at dry conditions in San Diego, LA, San Francisco, and no problems weather wise, into the Pacific Northwest at Seattle,
