Welcome And Date Check

SPEAKER_00

Hi, this is Bid Jal to Steam Pelletary, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the WeathermanBont.com on your Fridays. The last day of the month of July, 31st of July, 2026. And we open up a new month, August tomorrow. It's like both days in the eastern seaboard.

Yesterday’s Showers Move Offshore

But pretty good. Bad that presky low pressure system just off the coast of New England. During the daytime yesterday caused quite a bit of showers across much of central and northern New England, even spinning down into the island, some sections of southeastern New York, Connecticut, and Long Island had some scattered showers. Actually, there were some pretty heavy downpours in East Jersey as well. Well, most of that is all now off to the east. It's probably just over southern Nova Scotia, and it continues

High Pressure Delivers Sunny Weekend

to spin away. There's a big area of high pressure that's currently across well just over the central portion of the Ohio Valley and northern Kentucky. And that's going to be drifting eastward and should give us some very nice weather today and for tomorrow. For the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, expected highs in the middle eighties today with sunshine tonight. It'll be partly cloudy down to about the 50s, west to about 60 to 65 in a city and along the coast. Plenty of sunshine for the first day of August, and expected high temperatures could be a little bit higher, 85 to 90, but dry weather

Next Low Brings Monday Storm Risk

throughout. Some clouds move in at night. As an area of low pressure during the daytime today, that's over Iowa, southern Wisconsin, Minnesota. We'll be advancing eastward. We'll be in our vicinity on Monday. So there'll be an increase in clouds on Sunday with a chance of some showers at night. But the best chance of some rain as that low pressure crosses on through will be on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms likely then, hopefully getting into a clearing trend around the middle portion

Flight Weather And Airport Outlook

of this week. Traveling by air today, we've got some pretty good weather across the northeast. At least Boston still has some light rain showers, but it's not low weather there. So I don't see any major delays into the Boston area. New York, LaGuardia, JFK, all looking pretty good. Philadelphia will down to Baltimore and DC also. Very nice weather, even out in Dulles. And further south, Atlanta and Charlotte. All dry weather, but Central Florida and a western panhandle of Florida, southern sections of Mississippi and Alabama will have rainy weather today. And looks like still some scattered showers over Central and South Florida as well. Houston and Dallas are looking good, plenty of uh fair skies. Clouds on the increase, and looks like some rain later day and evening, some delays into the Chicago area and Minneapolis, but West Coast continues to be dry. LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Seattle, Tacoma. Generally good weather expected
