It's been fairly decent weather for the past weekend. A nice day, both on Saturday and Sunday, a bit on a warm side. However, it is August, and this does happen.
Heat Builds With Evening Storm Risk
SPEAKER_00Another hot day coming up today, 90 to 95, expecting a good amount of sunshine. Late day and evening thunderstorms, it will be a little bit cooler along the shore with a sea breeze during the afternoon hours. But a 30% chance of a late day shower or thunder shower, especially into the evening hours with overnight lows, down to about 72 as sky's clear.
Tuesday Through Weekend Outlook
SPEAKER_00Next day coming up tomorrow on Tuesday, it'll be mostly sunny with their highs near 90. Just a slight chance, ever so slight chance of a shower or thunder shower on Tuesday night. Then partly cloudy, most of the time dry, nighttime lows 68. Mostly sunny on Wednesday, a high of 87. Thursday, sunshine 88 degrees. A little bit cooler as we head towards Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Next weekend, actually Friday, right through Sunday, looking at fair dry weather with temperatures in the 80s, daytime in the 60s at night.
Northeast Travel Weather Window
SPEAKER_00Traveling by here today looks like great weather for the Northeast Corridor. We have no major problems weather-wise except for those widely scattered showers or thunderstorms that'll be occurring during the later afternoon or early evening hours, most likely between 4 and about 8 or 9 p.m. For the most part, though, most times, most places it will be dry. SPEAKER_00us some good weather for Tuesday. Atlanta will be dry, dry as in Charlotte. DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, no problems weather wise there. As will be Boston, most like mostly clear conditions. Also, fair weather, finally down in central and south Florida, but looking ahead towards uh, well, Houston and Dallas Fort Worth, the possibility of some scattered late-day thunderstorms, otherwise sunny and hot. Cloudy and rainy weather expected for Chicago. West Coast continues dry. LA, San Francisco, all the way up to Seattle, Tacoma. No problems weather wise to the West Coast today.
