A couple of frontal systems on the weather charts this morning are keeping uh lots of the nation under a little bit of cloud cover and also some showers. Uh the low pressure system that's now over the central Mississippi River valley is attached to a front that's almost stationary, extending thrust Indiana, Ohio, then into southern Pennsylvania, and then off the eastern

Mid-Atlantic And Northeast Outlook

seaboard. That means our weather situation for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, generally fair, although there is that slight chance of a shower, isolated thunder shower to later afternoon or evening hours. Similar pattern for tomorrow, because we're not seeing much of a change in this. There's a little kicker of a high pressure building down for Friday and Saturday, and that's going to be a dry, a little bit cooler day because more northerly winds are expected. For the daytime today, your high school range between 85 and 90, slight chance of a late day shower, isolated thunder shower, partly cloudy at night 62 to 67. And for the mid-Atlantic, tomorrow looks like another fine day. A little bit of patchy fog to start, then sunshine. Highs will reach the middle to upper 80s. And that chance of a shower, isolated thunder shower at night means that little cool front moving through and high pressure

Flight Weather And Delay Hotspots

Traveling by air today, it looks like generally light weather across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. I don't see any major problems for Norfolk, New York, LaGuardia, and JFK. Even up in the Boston area, the weather's good. Some scattered showers in Charlotte, but nothing much. Isolated showers in Atlanta, so good weather in Atlanta. Hartsfield, mainly during most of the day, just some showers at night. Central and South Florida, some isolated rain showers, but no big whoop there. And low pressure just south of Chicago continues to give them some heavier thunderstorms in the afternoon, some light to moderate delays for Chicago, midway and O'Hare. Looks like Houston and Dallas will be fine. Some rain across the central Rockies, and even some showers around LA, and much so the California coast down to San Francisco, looking at mostly fair skies, but maybe some late day showers. And Seattle, Tacoma, also dry at this
