Monday Showers And Storm Timing

looking at a day, we had uh some showers during the afternoon and evening hours on Sunday. It looks like more shower action for today. However, we get into a slow, gradual improvement as the day wears on. But showers and some thunderstorms are a possibility. In the middle portion of the day, especially as the day wears on. be some late day thunderstorms on Thursday, 82, then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all looking pretty nice. Sunshine in the lower 80s each day towards the end of the week and this upcoming weekend.

Northeast Flight Delay Risk

SPEAKER_00

If you're traveling by air today, it looks like our weather situation across the Northeast may have a few delays because of the possibility of those showers and thunderstorms associated with the next frontal system slowly, gradually trudging on through the area. And uh that could cause some localized delays during the later afternoon, early evening hours. Doesn't look like extensive, but thunderstorms always tend to have that effect across the area, slowing things down significantly. The frontal system moves through, and then we got some improvement for tomorrow, and also aheading towards midweek.

Nationwide City By City Check

SPEAKER_00

But uh showers are likely up in Boston, New York, LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark, down to Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., all with some rainy weather. Even a few light showers across eastern sections of Tennessee and Kentucky, but western North Carolina, Charlotte, probably generally dry throughout the day. Also dry in Atlanta, South Florida looking pretty good too. Dry weather in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul, although rain will be moving in later in the day. Houston and Dallas, dry but hot. Los Angeles and San Francisco, also on a dry side, but uh also with seasonable temperatures. Looks like fair weather for Portland and Seattle this Monday afternoon and evening.
