Hi, this is Middle Roman, Steve Pelletier, and I am the Weatherman. Thanks for checking into the Weathermanp.com on your Wednesday. It is magically the 19th day of the month of August 2026.

Today’s Setup And Temperature Range

SPEAKER_00

And we're looking at a weather situation today that uh will bring us some very nice weather across the mid-Atlantic Northeast. We had a frontal system move through early in the day on Tuesday. Started off with some clouds, had some sun, a little bit high humidity. But by later in the day that night, once the front moved through, skies cleared blue skies into the evening hours and starlit overnight as uh temperatures settled back into the low to middle sixties. And that's where we start the day today. Highs will range up to about 87, or somewhere between about 84 and 89 degrees. Good amount of sunshine expecting for the day. West winds at 5 to 10. Fair to partly cloudy at night, nighttime lows 63

to 68. And for Thursday, look for another partly sunny day, but a cool front will be arriving late in the day and at night. Highs will range between 80 and 85 on Thursday. And Thursday night with that chance of showers and thunderstorms. Nighttime lows will settle back into the middle sixties. Friday, just a slight chance of a morning shower, then becoming mostly sunny. I have 80 to 85.

Weekend Rain Chances Build

SPEAKER_00

Here's a look at the weekend Saturday and Sunday. Both days are looking partly sunny at least to start, but then Saturday, partly sunny, it might be some late day showers, 50% probability by later in the day, up to 81. A better chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, with Sunday's highs 80 to 85.

Air Travel Outlook For Major Hubs

SPEAKER_00

Traveling by air today, of course, across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Weather situation's looking pretty good. As high pressure builds across the region, looks like our weather will be quite nice for Nork, LaGuardia, JFK, Newark and right up to the Boston area, Philly, and Maryland also and Baltimore. Doing pretty good weather-wise. I don't see any major problems inbound and outbound for those airports. Also looking good down around Charlotte and also in Atlanta, Central and South Florida, maybe some scattered thunderstorms, but nothing much. Houston and Dallas, no problems getting in and out of there. Chicago's fine, also fine in Minneapolis. LA, San Francisco, West Coast, Seattle, Tacoma, looking very good today. No problems weather

wise. But there will be some thunderstorms later in the day on Thursday and Thursday evening. So we'll be watching out for that. We'll have more details on that on tomorrow's report. In the meantime, I hope you have a great day today. Talk to your first thing on Thursday. See you then.
