Today’s Forecast And Storm Chances

Now, yesterday we had scattered showers and thunderstorms, and today looks like an improved weather situation, even nicer Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Now, today, although a good portion of the time it will be dry and rain-free, there is an isolated thunderstorm chance, especially further south than to sections of Maryland, southern New Jersey, and Del Marble. But it looks like as the day wears on, the trend will be towards clearing as high pressure starts to building in from the northwest. Highs today will range into the low to middle 80s. Again, a chance of a late-day thunder shower, then overnight partly cloudy, down to about 60 to 65. It'll be in the 50s in northeastern PA in central New York.

Daytime for tomorrow, looking at a sunny day for your Saturday. Highs will range between 80 and 85. Clear at night, 60 to 65. Sunday and Monday, last day of the month. It's going to be sunny, but temperatures of rains in the mid to upper 80s and a few spots may even touch 90 for the last day of the month on Monday. Similar situation opened up September on Tuesday, although an added possibility of a late day thundershower then. In the meantime, though, for today, we're looking at a mix of clouds, sunny times, and temperatures ranging into the 80s and the possibility of a late-day shower or thundershower. Traveling

Air Travel Outlook Across The US

by air today, it looks like the weather situation much better in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast, although that isolated thunderstorm chance will still be with us a little bit later on today. I'm thinking for the most part, very few delays are expected in and around uh Nor, New York, LaGuardia, JFK, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, D.C. No problems weather-wise. Could be a few isolated showers still hanging in there around the Boston area. Frontal system almost stationary there. Uh, better chance with some rain down in Richmond and Charlotte, and also some rainy weather in Atlanta. So it could cause some delays there. Central and South Florida, scattered showers, some thunderstorms. Dry and nice in Chicago and Minneapolis, St. Paul. Some thunderstorms possible. Heat and humidity continue in Dallas and Houston, West Coast, some rainy weather and some showers in LA, also San Francisco. Uh dry generally in Portland, just some widely scattered showers in Seattle, Tacoma this afternoon and tonight. I've been your Roger, Steve Pellet here, and I am the weatherman.
